BSN is a government owned bank in Malaysia that has taken over all the duties and responsibilities of the Post Office Savings Bank since year 1974. BSN’s vision is to be the national preferred of comprehensive financial services for the Malaysia people and with the mission to improve the economic well-being and quality of life of the Malaysia by actively promoting savings, investment and the practice of sound financial management and by providing ready facilities for this purpose. BSN has more than 5,100 employees, 382 branches nationwide.

The overall objective for BSN Rebranding roll out is to ensure BSN new retail branch bank network to support and inspire their organization to continuously grow and enhance BSN ability to best serve the “family” of customers, staff and owners.

Merx has been selected to perform a full flash of programme management services for the branch roll out for BSN, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. The roll out includes 37 branches located throughout Malaysia, inclusive of new fit out along with branch rebranding.

Working in conjunction with SL+A (Interior Designer) and Jurutera Budiman (MEP consultant), Merx ensured BSN vision of the new branch network must leverage on design standardization to simplify use and help manage project cost was brought to life through material selection.

Project Success – The concept & the fit out has been a huge success with the businesses. The general feedback is resoundingly positive from the business unit.
