William Forwood

Managing Director

As founder and Managing Director of Merx, William Forwood has total responsibility for running the Merx global operations. William established the company in Singapore in 2001 and has led its successful and steady growth throughout Asia and the Middle East. William has over 15 years’ experience within the fields of property, client consulting, project management, procurement, construction management. William’s core responsibilities as Managing Director cover company strategy, business development, financial operations, driving company values and staff leadership.


Adrian Canning

Senior Project Manager

Adrian has worked in various large and prestige project environments. Adrian has proven track records in both building construction and renovation projects in Singapore and the UK, and has handled Commercial Offices, Hospitality and Government projects. During his career he has delivered projects with autonomy from inception, through design to project completion utilising strong core PM skills and excellent communication to his peers and stakeholders. Adrian is playing a lead role in leading and delivering significant commercial interior projects in Singapore.


Guy Gilgen

Projects Director

As a qualified architect, Guy brings a unique perspective to his role, having honed the ability to liaise fluidly between all project team members and the client. Guy’s role is to ensure projects are delivered to client requirements as smoothly as possible, while adhering to stringent time and budget parameters. Guy has an excellent client focus and an energetic outlook. Guy is focusing on the development growth of the retail and hospitality sectors in Singapore and throughout Asia.


Irene Tan

Cost Manager

Irene Tan is a fully qualified professional Quantity Surveyor who has worked on a vast array of different projects in her career. Irene is a contract and procurement specialist and has developed the internal Merx QS tendering and costing systems for pre and post contract stages. Irene is an invaluable part of any project to ensure costs are set, controlled and managed with attention to detail and audit trail. Irene manages the Merx Cost and QS team across all the Merx projects.


Nana Yusop

Personal Assistant

Nana is responsible for the overall Merx office management and handles all aspects of administrative and accounting support including co-ordination of the company’s day to day accounts payable and receivable. She works closely with the Project Directors and Managers to ensure documentation and account related matters are dealt with effectively and in a timely manner.


Ng Wai Meng

Project Manager

Wai Meng has worked in various project environments. He has handled projects including commercial offices, hospitality and public housing. During his career he has acquired experience in running projects independently in a project management consulting capacity for and on behalf of clients. Wai Meng’s significant projects include lounges for airlines, large commercial interior projects, new build government projects and specific retail projects.



Nick Dance

Senior Project Manager

Nick has had 22 years of experience in the Project Management & Construction Industry. He has handled diverse projects including airport terminals and commercial offices for banks with trading floors in the UK, Europe, India and Singapore. Nick has a gained his PM skill through his working experience to date and professional qualifications.


Riza Saluhadin

Project & Design Manager

Riza is a qualified interior designer and is responsible for project/design management. Riza handles all aspects of conceptual, planning, corporate branding/rebranding, organizing design process, presentations and clients’ briefing. Riza is also very strong at site coordination, material approvals, coordination with supplier or contractors as well as the design consultants involved in the project. He works closely with the Project Directors/Managers, Cost Manager and Construction Manager to ensure clients satisfaction during managing design process to managing project to project completion.
