Metrojet, a significant pioneer of business jet operators in the aviation sector, has recently completed construction of their latest integrated hangar project located in Clark, the Philippines. It is an honour for Merx to be appointed as the overall project management firm and see the full aviation construction program come to pass.

Metrojet’s integrated aerospace facility comes to a full completion
Leveraging on Merx’s strategic management expertise, as well as keen discernment in the construction sector, we laid the foundation in March 2019 and helped to efficiently bring the project to full delivery, where operations were able to commence by 2021.
Requirements and compliance for the aviation sector require particular attention to detail while balancing commercial viability. The aviation hangar has been designed to accommodate long-term hangar parking, as well as line and heavy maintenance for engine changes in the various jets.

This future-forward hangar features productive MRO technology
This integrated hangar is more than just a storage space for jet aircraft. It features integrated technology solutions inclusive of an aviation-grade fire suppression system, and dedicated, secure, climate-controlled client storage units within the hangar itself. Meanwhile, indoor aircraft cleaning slots are equipped with a reverse osmosis water system to ensure a streak-free finish and enhance corrosion protection.

For local and international visitors alike, there are dedicated customer lounge and offices, as well as a crew rest area with showers, conference rooms, training facilities, storage and multi-purpose recreational facilities.
On top of these state-of-the-art facilities, the smart typhoon-rated design and construction accommodate the natural elements in the designated location of Clark in the Philippines.
