Founded in 1804, Schroders is a British multinational asset management company with operations in over 30 countries, employing over 5,000 staff. In 2015, Schroders appointed Merx to project manage the development of their new regional flagship office in Singapore which included structured and agile work desk solutions, collaborative shared zones, external/internal specific meeting rooms and state of the art IT and AV infrastructure.
Working alongside SCA Design (interior designer) and Tarkus (main contractor), the Merx project team helped define the new workplace strategy through a structured staff and management engagement process that included company wide staff surveys and stakeholder interviews. Merx also provided the project steering and communication to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
